Our mission is to teach internationally recognised curricula to a high standard, in a school where Islamic practice is part of the ordinary school day.
Mission
What we are trying to do
A school can be measured on things it controls and things it does not. We hold ourselves to the first kind: whether the syllabus was taught in full and on time, whether work was marked and returned promptly, and whether students were entered for the right subjects at the right level.
What follows from that, examination grades and university places, is a consequence rather than a promise. We publish our results rather than describe them.
Our Priorities
Four things we hold to
Teach the syllabus properly
The examination boards publish exactly what students are assessed on. Our job is to teach all of it, on time, and to give students enough past-paper practice that the format of the exam is never the thing that costs them marks.
Islamic character as habit
Honesty, punctuality, and responsibility are not taught as a separate subject. They are enforced in how attendance is taken, how coursework deadlines are handled, and how students are expected to speak to staff and to each other.
Qualifications that travel
Cambridge, Edexcel, and FBISE qualifications are accepted by universities in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, the UK, and beyond. Families move, and a student who leaves Madinah part way through should be able to carry their record with them.
Review what did not work
After each examination series we look at which subjects underperformed and why, and change teaching allocation or scheme of work accordingly. This is the least visible part of running a school and the part that matters most over several years.
