How It Works
What accreditation means in practice
The board writes the syllabus
Cambridge, Edexcel, and FBISE each publish the specification for every subject, including what is assessed and how marks are allocated. We teach against those published documents, which means the standard is set outside the school and can be checked by anyone.
The board marks the papers
Final examinations are written and marked externally. No member of Ajyal staff marks a student's final grade, so a grade from this school means the same as the same grade from any other registered centre.
Students sit papers on campus
Because Ajyal holds its own Cambridge and Edexcel centre numbers, students take their examinations here rather than travelling to another city. Centre numbers appear on the certificate and can be verified directly with the board.
